25 creative notebooking ideas

Notebooking is one of the best ways to demonstrate your individuality in your lessons. But sticking some worksheets in a binder is not true notebooking. You must generate the material yourself and it is a reflection of you, not simply a regurgitation of someone else’s thoughts. Read more on the rewards of notebooking at my other blog, PrincipledMom.

  1. This is a great list! We haven’t been putting much into our notebooks lately, and I really want to get back into it.

  2. It’s so easy to get in a rut, or to feel you must do something creative all the time. Sometimes a good T chart is the perfect thing, simple and brief.

Also it’s easy to feel the need to produce something to prove learning. That’s probably my weakness. I don’t need to just fill notebooks; I need to teach, they need to learn.

  3. Great ideas! What I like about these is that they are not restricted to a regular notebook. How do you store these great creations?
